In the 1950's
It was the sisters birthday today, and in our not very rock 'n' roll style we went to see a small 50's exhibition going on in the Shire Hall Gallery in Stafford. It was really cute, fitted out with bubble gum pink walls. I liked it very much because they had modern artists being featured that worked in a retro style. These jugs at the bottom were an example of that. I loved them. I wished it was my birthday!

Loving the jugs too! They're kind of odd, like paper dolls but the clothing seems to be missing (unless its on the other side) Xx
ReplyDeletei think that is a fab birthday treat- when I was pregnant with my daughters way back when, hubby took me to see seahorses as a treat- loved itx
